Depository and Research Centre of the Tyrolean State Museums , Hall (A), mention

Our design creates a transition between the dense development to the south of the site and the open countryside to its north by “inserting” the depository into the existing terrain and laying the restauration workshops and studios on top of it in the form of a long, delicate block. The building’s north-south orientation draws on the lines of the existing farmstead. Whereas the entrance and delivery area on its south side set a more urban tone, its north side is unobtrusive and almost unnoticeable when viewed from the open countryside. The embedding of the depository into the ground protects it in both a climatic and figurative sense. The roof of the depository features a small meadow.
