Multi-storey residential development Quartier Grünewald II, Luxembourg-Kirchberg (L)
We opted for a wall-to-wall open plan conceptin in our design for the residential development project on lot 16. Despite a building depth of 18 m, the concept offers a number of advantages on this plot. All residential units face south-east and are provided with daylight in the same way and to the same extent. No units are only north-east or north-west facing. As a result of the way in which the site drops away in a south-easterly direction, the view between the neighbouring buildings on lots 14 and 17 will not be blocked by other developments in the future. Residential units of three different sizes are to be realized. Their design allows them to be combined with one another in a variety of ways.
